Twinkie Doodle Dandy Painter

Twinkie Doodle Dandy was born on 08-09-2010 and purchased as a Christmas present in December 2010 from Petland at Lewis Center, OH. Steve’s childhood dog was named Quinkie and his father had a dog named Inkie therefore we combined the two names and came up with her name Twinkie Doodle Dandy. 

Twinkie passed away on 08-26-2024 from natural causes just 17 days after her 14th birthday. She was part of our family and loved dearly and will be missed forever. Her favorite foods were pizza, chicken and steak and would not stop barking until she got some.

Twinkie was a very strong dog and survived being hit by a car early in age and two different severe illness that could have killed her, however she was tough and fought her way to wellness as she knew she was loved and needed to continue to get her favorite foods! We had always joked that Twinkie had nine lives that she is a tough old girl, but God decided you were tired and took you home to heaven.
